Who We Are
We build retaining walls across the Mornington Peninsula, working with homeowners, builders and landscapers who need a sloped or eroding block turned into something solid and usable. Whether it's a timber garden wall or a larger concrete sleeper job, we focus on getting the groundwork right first, the footings, the drainage, the parts that decide whether a wall lasts, rather than rushing to the finish.
Every property on the Peninsula is different, and we treat each job on its own terms. A coastal block exposed to salt air needs different materials and drainage to a sloped hinterland property, and a boundary wall between two neighbours needs to be built with both sides in mind. We take the time to look at the actual site before recommending a wall type, rather than defaulting to whatever's quickest to install.
Why a Properly Built Wall Matters
A retaining wall is a practical fix, but it's also often the difference between a block that's unusable and one that isn't, a level section for a garden, a driveway that finally holds its shape, a boundary that's clearly and properly defined. That's what we're actually building toward on every job, not just a structure, but a piece of the property that works the way it's meant to.
If you'd like to see the kind of work we do, our gallery has a selection of completed retaining walls from across the Peninsula, timber, sandstone and concrete sleeper builds on real sites with real slopes and soil types.
